Utrecht/Veghel, 1 July 2010 – Effective Thursday 1 July, AXIANS will open a second office in the Dutch town of Veghel. The network specialist has hired a team of 11 former employees of Itvise (part of AAC Cosmos). This team has considerable experience in the area of (server, application and desktop) virtualisation, thin client infrastructures, data storage, back-up and disaster recovery. This fits perfectly with AXIANS’ current portfolio.
AXIANS specialises in network solutions in the broadest sense of the word: from advice, supply, implementation to maintenance and management. AXIANS has developed its own project methodology for controlled management of projects, including budget control, planning, communication and organisation. The new team fits in well with this project-orientated organisation.
Rob Wennekendonk, Managing Director of AXIANS: ‘The opening of the new office is an excellent opportunity for AXIANS to strengthen relations with our customers in Brabant and Limburg. Moreover, the team brings to our organisation a huge collection of know-how and expertise – a valuable addition to AXIANS’ Dutch portfolio’.
Business Unit Manager Hans Mekking will be in charge of the team in Veghel. ‘We are really excited about this new challenge’, according to Mekking. ‘It is a privilege to have this opportunity to build our own business unit within AXIANS Netherlands with such strong a team. AXIANS is a solid organisation with sufficient resources and flexibility. What we find so appealing is that profit responsibility does not rest solely with the management, but at every level of the organisation’.
The office is in the Actemium building, a sister company of AXIANS, on the Costerweg 5 in Veghel. In particular, working closely with the branch in Utrecht, the new office will serve customers in the southern part of the Netherlands.
