Utrecht, 26 April 2010 – Bjorn Olde Kalter (39) has been appointed business security consultant at AXIANS. In this position, he will be responsible for the security portfolio of the network specialist.

Before the appointment, Olde Kalter worked for TrustAlert, where he held the position of sales director. Prior to that, he held the position of channel account manager at Cisco Systems, where he worked closely with AXIANS over an extended period.

Bjorn is eager to work for a company with which he has had a close working relationship over the years: ‘AXIANS is a highly professional company, where everyone feels committed to their customers and responsible for offering the best solutions. That is what really distinguishes AXIANS from the other players’.

Among others, Olde Kalter will concentrate on an integral approach to network security, including introducing hosted security in the market. ‘You should not view the various components of network security, such as firewalls, access security and anti-virus programs, as separate items’. This will also better attune the portfolio to market demand and customer needs.
